Spinning bike
Spinning bike is actually a modified indoor bicycle. Like all aerobic exercises, spinning bike also consumes energy while consuming fat after fully activating the body's motor cells. Among several aerobic equipment training, spinning bike can be said to be the most intense exercise equipment. Usually, one class can consume about 500 calories, which is equivalent to running seven or eight kilometers. In the leg-centered exercise process, the muscles of the buttocks, waist, back, and arms can be fully exercised, and your cardiopulmonary function can also be enhanced.
Spinning bike is also a relatively special aerobic exercise. Generally, group classes are required to complete it. Under the coach's high-pitched slogans and dynamic music, you can complete the movements that are suitable for your own intensity rhythmically and passionately. Different physical fitness and patience can choose different strengths. The core of spinning bike is rhythm. As long as the rhythm keeps up, the effect is very good.
Exercise bike
Many people confuse exercise bikes with spinning bikes. In fact, these are two kinds of equipment. The most obvious difference in structure is the position of the flywheel. Most of the flywheels of spinning bikes are front-mounted, while some are front-mounted and some are rear-mounted, and the flywheel adopts a wrapped design. In terms of riding methods, spinning bikes can be ridden standing or sitting, and the flexibility can be understood as being similar to that of bicycles, while exercise bikes are divided into two types of exercise states: lying and sitting. Due to the different application scenarios of the two, exercise bikes are more stable in terms of placement stability and will not sway left and right.
Let's look at the exercise intensity of the two. Spinning bikes mostly use large flywheels of 8kg~25kg, which have relatively large inertia, making riding more difficult, and the exercise intensity will be greater and more exciting, while the magnetically controlled flywheels of exercise bikes are mostly small flywheels below 8kg, and due to the body structure being suitable for sitting riding, the exercise intensity will be much smaller than that of spinning bikes.
Generally speaking, spinning bikes are more intense and more suitable for young people who need to lose fat. They are not suitable for people with leg or knee injuries. On the other hand, exercise bikes are suitable for people of all ages and do not place high demands on the legs. If you just want to warm up or do some stretching exercises, they are a good choice!
